While these are exciting times, I am afraid that my days of having a stationary baby are getting to be few and far between. Duncan is ready to explore the world. He has already been caught with his fingers in the VCR-oops.
I don't think you can call what he is doing crawling, but it gets him where he needs to go. I like this position best. I call it "the eternal push-up."
While people seem to think Duncan looks more like me, he definitely gets his eating genes from his dad. Shane's mom says she had to feed Shane with a spoon in one hand and a bottle in the other because she just couldn't shovel it in fast enough. We are experiencing much of the same. Here he is having some banana.
These pictures are his first day sitting up eating. He was actually pretty patient, so it gave me times for some pics.
Just looking cute with dad after bath time. Duncan luuuuvs to swim in the tub. He makes a huge mess, but at least the bathroom floor is always clean.
Roland is still having some baby relapses, but for someone who has had all the trauma of starting school, having a baby brother, potty training, sleeping in the toddler bed, and getting off the bottle all in less than 9 months, we figure he is doing okay. I can't say the same of the toys with 30lb weight limits.
Thank goodness, we still get to have some peaceful times.
