A fair to remember

Can you spot the big turkey? Harder than you thought , huh? As you probably guessed, we went to the State fair. I bent down to say hello to this turkey and I guess my big hair scared him and he puffed up bigger than Elvis and ready to take me on. I have had a lot of things said about my hair, but no one has every told me my hair could intimidate a prize winning turkey.

Shane holding a baby duck. The boys wanted no part of the duck and peep holding.
Giddy up cowboy! What a "maverick."
Duncan got to ride this awesome thing called a "stroller." Weeeeeeee.

Shane, Duncan and a super-reflective fire dog. Roland was having no part of this either.
This was a jungle themed ride that Shane and Roland went on. Duncan provided a jungle-like atmosphere by hanging on the bars and bouncing up and down. What a beast.
Roland is on this ride somewhere-hopefully next to his dad. Who knows?
Roland and me and "The Serpent."
This is how I imagined it. "Dad, you said this ride was cool. What gives?" But that's just me.
To top it all off, we had some awesome fireworks. Almost better than the Fourth of July. Yeeehawww-go State fair!
